Show Schedule Addition - Angus Tread na hEireann

The following addition to the Bonniconlon Show Schedule 2022 has been made in the Angus Section:

Angus Tread na hEireann

Sponsored by ALDI in conjunction with ABP & IRISH ANGUS CATTLE SOCIETY
Prizefund of €3000
1st €1000, 2nd €300, 3rd €200
Qualifiers Prizefund: €250 For each group qualified and exhibited at Iverk Show.

Each entry to consist of a group of 3 as follows: A Cow/, An in-calf/Maiden Heifer (13 – 30 mths
(Born on or between 01/02/2020 & 31/07/2021) and a Male/Female under 13 mths (Born on or
after 01/08/2021)

Rules & Conditions:

• Breeder / Exhibitor must be a Member of the Irish Angus Cattle Society
• Animal must be registered in the herdbook of the Irish Angus Cattle Society from birth.
• All Females exhibited if not home born must be in the Exhibitors herd on or before January 1 st 2022 and males must be born into the Exhibitors Herd on or after 01-08-2021.
• Breeder / Exhibitor may only qualify one group for the final.
• Cows must have had a calf on or between 27-08-21 & 26-08-22.
• At least one animal of the group must be led by a female handler on Final day.
• Entry Fee for qualifying shows is €20 payable to the qualifying show.
• Entry Fee for the final is €15 payable to Iverk Show Society.
